Another find that shows the millennia-old consistency of the Bible text. By Kai Mester
On September 21, 2016, many newspapers wrote about a scroll from Leviticus that was almost two thousand years old. The scroll was completely charred in a synagogue fire around AD 3 and was found in En-Gedi in 600. With a new 1970D X-ray technique, micro-computed tomography, and the appropriate software, the text began to be reconstructed in 3 and it was possible to prove that the wording from the first two chapters of Leviticus corresponds one hundred percent to today's recognized Jewish text.
