On May 10, Christoph Berger announced the breakthrough by email. The headmaster of Schloss Bogenhofen near Braunau sent his letter to Bogenhofen's friends. The preparations had lasted five years.
My daughter was already hoping to start her studies there in 2014. She is now studying at a state university. There, too, she experiences God's guidance every day, sometimes in a very impressive way. But her wish to attend a German-speaking faculty for Adventist education has remained unfulfilled.
So we rejoice all the more for those who are being trained to become teachers according to the concept of education set forth by Ellen White in books such as Education and Counsels to Teachers, Parents and Students and Edward Sutherland in Principles of True Parenting. It will certainly be easier in Bogenhofen to grow into this way of thinking, according to which students are allowed to learn holistically with the Bible as anchor, guide and inspiration.
