All men and women of God on earth were waiting for the return of the lost paradise. The New Jerusalem brings this paradise from the cosmos back to earth.

Abraham also “was waiting for the city which has its foundations, whose builder and maker is God” (Hebrews 11,10:5,5). Jesus of Nazareth prophesied in the Sermon on the Mount: “Blessed are the meek; for they will inherit the earth." (Matthew XNUMX:XNUMX)

But first our planet must be cleansed of everything that would immediately destroy paradise again. “But the day of the LORD will come...then the heavens will pass away with a crash, and the elements will be dissolved with heat, and the earth and the works in it will be burned up...But we look for new heavens and a new earth according to his promise, in which righteousness lives. « (2 Peter 3,10.13:XNUMX)

All things new

“For behold, I create a new heaven and a new earth, so that the former will be remembered no more, nor will they come to mind.” (Isaiah 65,17:XNUMX)

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea is no more." (Revelation 21,1:XNUMX)

"They will build houses and live in them, plant vineyards and enjoy their fruits... The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like a ox, and the serpent will feed on dust." (Isaiah 65,21:25 -XNUMX)

No more suffering and no more death

“Behold the tent of God among men! And he will dwell with them; and they will be his people, and God himself, their God, will be with them. And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will there be any more sorrow, nor crying, nor pain; for the first things have passed away. And he that sat on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. ... I will give freely to him who thirsts from the fountain of the water of life! He that overcometh shall inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But as for the cowardly, unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone; This is the second death." (Revelation 21,3:8-XNUMX)

“And he showed me a pure stream of the water of life, shining as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the middle between their street and the river, on this side and on that side, was the tree of life, which bears fruit twelve times and gives its fruit every month, one at a time; and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. And there will be no more curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in her, and his servants shall serve him; and they shall see his face, and his name shall be on their foreheads. And there will be no more night there, neither will they need a lampstand, nor the light of the sun, for the LORD God will give them light; and they shall reign for ever and ever." (Revelation 22,1:5-XNUMX)

“The cow and the she-bear will graze together, and their young will lie down together... The suckling child will play in the viper's hole, and the weaned one will stretch out his hand to the viper's den. They will not do evil or act corruptly in all the mount of my sanctuary; For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea." (Isaiah 11,6:9-XNUMX)

“For as the new heavens and the new earth which I make shall abide in my sight, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name endure. And it shall come to pass, that every new moon, and every Sabbath, all flesh shall gather together to worship before me, saith the Lord." (Isaiah 66,22.23:XNUMX, XNUMX)
