I advise you: Stay out of the cities. Do not build sanatoriums in the cities. Educate our people so that they may move from the cities to the countryside, where they can obtain a small plot of land and build a home for themselves and their children.
When the question of establishing a sanatorium in Los Angeles arose, I had to object. The matter weighed heavily on me; I simply could not remain silent. It is time, brothers and sisters, to take to heart what the LORD of Heaven has told us out of grace and love.
It is true that we can only reach people through the work in our restaurants and educate them about the principles of a righteous life if these restaurants are located in the cities. We will also have to move into meetinghouses in the cities for the time being. But soon there will be so much strife and confusion in the cities that those who wish to leave them will no longer be able to do so. We must prepare for these matters. This is the light I have received.
