🌿 RECIPES FOR A COLD

Here you’ll find the three recipes from the video slide—with additional instructions for use.

🧴 1. NOSE OINTMENT / NOSE BALM
As shown in the slide, based on Eliane Zimmermann’s recipe.

INGREDIENTS
• 1 tbsp coconut oil or shea butter
• 2 drops cajeput essential oil
• 2 drops ho-leaf essential oil

PREPARATION
Gently melt the coconut oil or shea butter. Let it cool until the base is still stirrable. Stir in the essential oils and pour the mixture into a clean, small jar.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
The instructions describe rubbing the mixture onto the nose and cheekbones. Use only externally on unbroken skin. Avoid contact with the eyes, inside the nose, and other mucous membranes. Discontinue use if skin irritation occurs.

The age recommendations on the label are not verified safety guidelines. For children, consult a pediatrician or a pharmacist before using the mixture. Do not use on babies and toddlers without professional guidance.

🧅 2. ONION POUCH

YOU’LL NEED
• 1 onion
• 1 clean cotton cloth
• A ribbon to tie it closed

PREPARATION
Peel the onion, chop it into small pieces, and place it in the center of the cloth. Gather the cloth into a small pouch and tie it closed.

USAGE NOTES
For children, do not add the cajeput oil as specified in the instructions. Place the pouch out of their reach and do not put it in the crib. Remove if it causes eye irritation or a coughing reflex.

🧦 3. ONION FEET

YOU’LL NEED
• 1 onion
• 1 gauze bandage
• Socks

PREPARATION
Peel the onion and cut it into thin slices. Place the slices on the soles of your feet, secure them loosely with the gauze bandage, and pull socks over them.
