Let's watch and pray! As surely as we watch and pray, so surely we will know who our Helper is. “Then you will call, and the LORD will answer. When you cry out, he will say: Behold, here I am.« (Isaiah 58,9:XNUMX) He is just waiting to help us. May the Lord give you grace day by day to weather the coming storm. For this storm will test your spiritual hope to the extreme.

If you trust in people, then you are lost; but if you trust in Jesus, the "rock of salvation" (cf. Exodus 2:17,6; 33,22:1; 10,4 Corinthians 10,16:22), then salvation is assured. He said: 'Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and innocent as doves. But beware of people; for they will hand you over to the courts and will flog you in their synagogues. And they will bring you before governors and kings for my sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles. Now when they are handed over to you, do not worry how or what you should speak; for it will be given you in that hour what you are to speak. For it is not you who are speaking, but the spirit of your father who is speaking through you. But brother will hand over brother to death, and the father the child, and the children will rebel against their parents and will put them to death. And you will be hated by everyone for my name's sake. But whoever endures to the end will be saved.” (Matthew XNUMX:XNUMX-XNUMX) We can be thankful that these words have come down to us. Every child of God whose faithfulness to Jesus is difficult and tested may claim the promise and will receive enough grace in every need.
